Large Trade Building Rotterdam
At the Large Trade Building, an iconic building in Rotterdam, ( 220 metres long, 85 metres wide and 43 metres high ) we had the opportunity, in collaboration with Harry Pierik, to take care of a very special project.
A logistical challenge to keep everything as tight and tidy as possible.
Preparation is in full swing, with our suppliers making sure the materials are ready as always.
With several trucks, all bags of soil mixture are delivered to the door.
The work will take place on the “raised” roadway. All materials such as containers, plants and soil have to be moved up.
We are going to turn this concrete face into a green oasis.
The bins are all placed.
And filled with the soil mixture.
The first plants find their way and get a place.
Large sizes of trees and shrubs are used.
It is already starting to look much friendlier.
The final planting can go in.
And with a few weeks, it will have grown completely dense.
With a splendour of colours.
