Japanese Zen garden in Stadskanaal
We have plenty of room.
The idea based on the sketch design.
At the back of the garden, we are going to install retaining walls, which require a good foundation.
A thick sand layer is perfect for this.
Reusing retaining walls can save money!
A lot of them are posted.
The soil can be replenished.
Contour of pond excavated and all soil worked through and backfilled.
The pond will be made of foil. So a tight finish to the base is necessary.
With great care, we place the large boulders.
We set out the border lines.
The sections where gravel will be added will be filled with white sand.
And we also place large boulders in the borders.
The beginning of the watercourse is made.
The gravel is in and the planting work can begin.
A few topiary trees and maples form the base of the garden.
Bamboo at the back should start breaking the wind from the open plain.
With the ground covers in it, it forms a garden that exudes tranquillity.
A path through the garden leads to the teahouse which the customer will build himself.
Rest!
